Founded in 2009, Ecnomus Construction is a project management and construction company specializing in new custom homes and major renovations with a collaborative approach from start to finish. Deploying our 9 Phase System tailored to your project, we ensure consistent, repeatable results from true construction and management professionals that last.
Step 1
Initial Meeting
We want to walk through your project with you to understand what you need and what will make a lasting impact on how you live.
We really want to get to know you, how you live, and what will make your experience that much better.
Step 2
Planning + Budgeting
Once we are fully aligned with your vision and budget, we will introduce an architect or designer that lines up with your aesthetic taste and budget. It all starts by developing conceptual drawings that allow us to build initial budgets for your project. We are completely transparent in our budgeting process and define key metrics that we can be accountable for throughout our journey together.
We pride ourselves on value engineering for the people we work for, getting you the most value possible for your investment. We try to leave no stone unturned for realistic options worth your consideration.
Step 3
Detailed Design + Project Setup
Once you have approved the concept and budget, we get to work translating your vision into a fully buildable plan.

With these comprehensive, construction-ready documents, every trade professional knows exactly what to build, how to build it, and when—so the build phase runs smoothly, with no surprises.
Step 4
Procurement + Budget Alignment
When we receive final construction and design drawings, we validate our proposed budget with subtrade and supplier quotes. This also gives us an opportunity to make changes that will make the project and budget more efficient.
Our proposed management fee is a fixed percentage of construction costs. This is based on the complexity, scope, and duration of the project. By fixing our fee from the start we ensure that our only incentive is to be completely aligned with you. Our first responsibility is to you and to deliver the best value we can.
Step 5
Permitting + Scheduling
With your sign-off on the drawings, we submit all permit applications and manage approvals. At the same time, we develop a full, milestone-driven schedule that keeps every trade, supplier, and consultant accountable from start to finish.
Step 6
Site Mobilization + Preparation
We prepare your site for construction—protecting existing finishes, staging materials, and confirming delivery windows—so that once the hammer drops, every task flows without hold-ups.
Step 7
Construction Execution + Communication
Once your site is ready, we put our proprietary 9-Phase System into action—here is exactly what you can expect:
Progress + Budget Updates: You receive a brief report at each phase-end plus access to live budget tracking.
Proactive Change Control: Any requested change pauses work, we present alternatives, and proceed only with your approval.
Open Communication: Regular check-ins—by phone, email, or on-site—keep you fully informed and confident throughout.
Step 8
Budget Management + Reporting
Every two weeks you receive a complete invoice package for work completed by trades, supplier invoices, material receipts and a reconciliation summary. If any change request impacts the budget, we will present alternatives and only proceed once you have approved.
Step 9
Final Walkthrough + Post-Move Support
We want you to enjoy the process, learn about your new home, and how this all works. We are always happy to have meetings at your convenience to work through any questions.
