Initial Meeting
We want to walk through your project with you to understand what you need and what will make a lasting impact on how you live.
We really want to get to know you, how you live, and what will make your experience that much better. We are not a volume business – the relationship between us and our clients is a top priority. We want to ensure that we are working for people that we can align with to deliver the level we expect of ourselves.
If we hit it off, we can move on to an initial high level budget estimate.
Planning + Budgeting
Before we move into design, we want to make sure we are aligned on the budget for an initial scope for your project. By establishing a high level budget and delivering an estimate that includes a scope at this stage, we streamline the process in the design phase. A desired budget is something we take very seriously, we do not try to expand your costs unnecessarily and putting those parameters in place keeps everyone on track.
When the scope and budget make sense to you, we can move on to the design phase together.
Design
The renovation type, budget and scope that you are embarking on determines the level of design and consultant input required. We maintain excellent relationships with interior designers, architects, qualified home designers, and engineers that can be called upon for your project to deliver the necessary design and documentation to make your home renovation a success.
Once the team has been selected, the first step is to laser-measure your home and create “as-built drawings.” These will show what we are working with and provide a base to manipulate to deliver the design that is best for you.
We will provide a preliminary design concept, and once that is approved we can move to finalizing the documentation, obtaining necessary consultant specifications, and applying for permits if required.
Our team will help you select all your finishes to make sure your home is cohesive and follows a consistent design narrative, ensuring it becomes the dream space you always wanted it to be.
Detailed Final Budget
Once we have the design and scope fully nailed down and we are completely aligned, we will provide you with a detailed final budget. We work from a quote for your project or operate on an open-book project management basis; the choice is yours.
Construction
We’re ready for construction! Everyday we work with your best interests in mind, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for us and our trusted subtrades to work in.
We always strive to keep to our construction schedule and communicate any changes to you immediately, maintaining our commitment to accountability and transparency.
Renovation construction can lead to unexpected bumps in the road, and we consistently strive to mitigate them to keep the impact to you as minimal as possible.
We want your new space to be everything that it can be when your project is complete, a place to create new and lasting memories with friends and family.
Completion
We’re done! Pop the champagne and enjoy your newly finished home! We aren’t going anywhere so if there are ever any issues, we’re only a phone call away.
